WHAT IS “THE ART OF BEING SEEN”?

Embracing the Change is an intimate Maison Akoma afternoon for women who feel between two versions of themselves. Through guided conversations and gentle reflection, you'll honor who you were, arrive in who you are, and get curious about who you're becoming, in tune with the season we're in.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE EVENT TAKE PLACE?

The event will take place on Saturday 31 October 2026 at De Lommerd, Arnhem.

WHAT LANGUAGE WILL THE EVENT BE IN?

The event will be held mainly in English, but French can also be spoken ;)

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?

This event is for women going through a season of change, big or quiet, who want to make space for it instead of rushing through it, and meet other women in a warm and supportive environment.

No previous experience is required, and you don't need to know what's next.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY TICKET?

Your ticket includes:

  • Full access to the Embracing the Change experience and all activities planned during the event

  • Guided discussions and reflective exercises led by Jane-Priscillia, founder of Maison Akoma and life coach

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PURCHASE MY TICKET?

After completing your payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration details. Further practical information and reminders will be sent before the event.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

We understand that plans can change. Here's how it works:

  • Full refund — available for cancellations made up to 14 days before the event (until 17 October 2026). Simply email us at hello@maisonakoma.com and we'll process your refund within 7 business days.

  • Within 14 days of the event — tickets are no longer refundable, but they are fully transferable: you may pass your ticket to another woman at no cost, up to 24 hours before the event. Just email us her name and email address so we can welcome her properly.

  • If we cancel or reschedule — in the unlikely event that Maison Akoma cancels the event, you will receive a full refund. If the event is rescheduled, you may choose between a ticket for the new date or a full refund.

  • No-show — tickets are not refunded in case of no-show, but you'll be the first to hear about our next gathering.

This event takes place on a fixed date. In accordance with EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, leisure activities exemption), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to event tickets. The policy above defines your cancellation rights.
