Look outside.
The trees don't cling to their leaves. They don't apologise for being bare for a while. And they don't rush spring.
Nature changes in seasons. So do we.
And yet, when change happens inside us, we often fight it.
We hold on to versions of ourselves that no longer fit: the role we played, the relationship, the place, the dream we outgrew.
We rush past the grief so we can "move on" faster.
We judge ourselves for not being further along.
We feel lost in the in-between, not quite who we were, not yet who we're becoming.
That feeling isn't a sign you're falling behind. It's a sign you're changing.
Like nature, we live in cycles: seasons of growth, seasons of letting go, seasons of rest, seasons of beginning again. None of them is wrong. Each one asks something different of you.
Embracing the Change is an afternoon to honor your past, land in your present, and get curious about your future, at the pace of the season you're in.
Arrive, get a warm drink and settle in. Meet the other women, leave the noise of the outside world at the door, and give yourself an afternoon that belongs entirely to you.
Discover the story behind Maison Akoma, meet your facilitator Jane-Priscillia and explore why autumn is the perfect season to talk about change. Together, we'll create a safe space and begin with a guided breathing exercise and a grounding meditation.
This is the heart of the Maison Akoma experience. Each circle explores a different part of your season of change. Choose the one that speaks to where you are today.
What are you ready to release?
Honor the woman you've been, the roles, the stories and the versions of you that carried you this far, and give yourself permission to grieve what no longer fits.
Who are you, right now?
Explore the space between who you were and who you're becoming, and learn to stand in uncertainty without rushing to fix it.
What wants to grow in you?
Look at your future with openness instead of pressure, and plant the first intention for your next season.
Which season are you in?
Recognise your own rhythms, understand what your current season is asking of you, and stop judging yourself for not being in another one.
We will come back together as one group to share the most meaningful insights from each Reflection Circle.
This is a moment to learn from one another, celebrate different perspectives and leave feeling inspired, supported and a little more connected to yourself.
Anyone who wishes is warmly invited to stay for warm drinks and autumn treats prepared with love by Maison Akoma. A relaxed moment to keep talking, build new friendships and simply enjoy being together.
This afternoon is for you if…
You feel between two versions of yourself, and you're not sure how to move forward.
Something in your life has ended or shifted, and you haven't really made space to feel it.
You want to change, but part of you keeps holding on.
You're tired of rushing, and you want to grow without erasing where you've been.
You want honest conversations with women who simply get it.
And it's not for you if…
You're looking for a networking event with business cards and elevator pitches.
You'd rather keep the conversation at small talk.
You want someone to hand you a five-step formula.

You don't need to know what's next. You just need to be willing to show up for where you are.
One intention for your next season, written, decided, yours
A clearer sense of the season you're in, and what it's asking of you
Honest connections with women walking through their own changes
A hand-poured Maison Akoma candle to carry the afternoon home with you
And the experience of an afternoon where you didn't have to have it all figured out
I spent years adapting to different environments and different expectations, while trying to navigate life carrying my own emotional baggage. At one point, I realised I had been living on autopilot. Then it hit me.
I was afraid of being seen.
For me, being seen meant being exposed. It meant opening myself up to other people's judgement—but more than anything, it meant facing my own.
That realisation became the beginning of a much deeper journey.
Through my own experiences, years of personal development and a growing passion for psychology, philosophy and spirituality, I rebuilt a stronger relationship with myself.
Along the way, I discovered that I was far from being the only woman asking these same questions. Today, I work as a Life Coach, helping women reconnect with themselves, rebuild their self-esteem and develop the confidence to become the leader of their own lives.
Maison Akoma was born from that mission.
I created this experience to offer the kind of space I once needed myself: a space where women can pause, reflect, have honest conversations and leave feeling more connected to themselves.

No. It's a guided conversation among women, facilitated with care. If deeper support is what you need, this can be a beautiful first step — not a replacement.
